Die Antwoord "Zef Side"

The Italian's have a great saying:  "Se non e vero, e ben trovato" which translates to:  "If it's not true, it's a good story."  With that in mind I would like to present my new favorite rap group:  Die Antwoord.  If these guys are for real then more power to them...if it's just an "interweb" put-on then bravo all the same.  They are literally too good to be true.  You be the judge - read more and watch the videos after the jump.

Imagine what would happen if the Black Eyed Peas were born and raised in Hell with the Insane Clown Posse for parents.  Every now and then their Uncle G.G. Allin would come by for a visit and make things just a little bit worse.  Mix in a little Da Ali G and we are slowly creating what will become Die Antwoord.

The band hails from South Africa and sings in English and Africaans.  Die Antwoord means "The Answer" in Africaans.  The fun loving/hyper violent characters of this zef/rap/hip-hop/rave music group consist of MC Ninja, Yo-Landi Vi$$er and DJ Hi-Tek.  Experience more and listen to some tracks on their excellent website.

A US tour has been promised for 2010! If these guys aren't for real I don't think it's really going
to matter much to me - I loved The Monkees too!
