Hey, yo man, ya remember that shit Eazy did awhile back motherfucker said wasn't gonna work?"
"That was crazy shit."
"Yeah, the stupid shit, man. Hey, yo Eazy, hey man, why don't ya come off the piano for a minute and bust this crazy shit?"
Well, Eazy-E did come off of the piano and busted out some crazy shit, but then a strange thing happened some white people decided they needed to bust out his same crazy shit as well. Read more after the jump.
I'm not sure why I find it so amusing when I hear white people covering gangster rap songs. Gangster rap posturing is a real artform. "My lifestyle is much tougher than your lifestyle! You better believe it...or pay the price!" It's one thing to hear that attitude from a singer that grew up in a tough neighborhood, but something much more humorous when it's coming from your momma. Don't talk about my momma like that!
Dynamite Hack certainly nailed it when they sang their version of the Eazy-E classic "Boyz-N-The-Hood." It didn't really matter that their "hood" was most likely on the other side of the world from Eazy's.

My other favorite rap cover is Nina Gordon's version of NWA's "Straight Outta Compton." She is a bad ass with an acoustic guitar, and I would think twice about crossing her and her ability to handle an AK-47.

I'm beginning to think that Eazy was never even behind the piano.
